I suppose I am lucky, as I didn't have far to travel for this one - in my own home !
The Spirit House was built circa 1544 (although parts of the house go back to the 12th century) and it has seen many people come and go .... and many deaths.
Built with Stone from Evesham Abbey, the house holds many ghostly secrets...
At night, when Mike and I go upstairs to our flat, the lower floors are opened up to ghost hunters and paranormal investigators. There is a haunted cellar where guests are invited to spend the night…or at least try to – many have left early citing all kinds of strange noises and visions.
The Spirit House also boasts its own Poltergeist, known only as "Colin" who moves heavy chairs around in the cellar !
The ghost of a young girl and a monk are also often seen, along with the spirit of a Victorian Doctor.
We had some returning guests this evening, Matthew, Emma, Jo and Kerri all came back for some more contact with the other world.
We had three experiments running - table tipping in the Victorian Witch room, scrying and ouija in the Doctor's Room and Scrying and Franks Box in the cellar.
Guest Emma saw an orb fly from the witch room to the doctor's room (something which has been seen before) and Matthew felt a wet finger run down his arm ! something he'd never experienced before ! Emma's name was mentioned twice on the Franks Box (she was popular !) and some of the other guests were touched, felt changes in temperature and saw their faces change during scrying.
A young boy called William took a shine to our guest Ashleigh and seemed to follow her from room to room, making her feel very emotional at one point.
For me the highlight of the evening was when we asked Colin 'what would you like to do to all these ladies?' - his reply, via the Franks Box was 'multiple sex' ! Naughty Colin!
